Ollie dreams of being a professional fashion illustrator/artist and that dream inspires his artwork. He expresses with various mediums including watercolour, oil pastel, pencil and acrylic.
Ollie has a soft shy nature, attributed to his speech impediment (stutter), choosing to spend much of his time working from the isolation of his inner city apartment and using his artwork as an outlet for his expression. Ollie tends to be most comfortable with the anonymity of cities and their large populations where he can focus on his preferred subject matter, People of Fashion.
During 2009-2010 Ollie participated in more than eight exhibitions and has focused on producing material relevant to the big names in the fashion industry. Models Agyness Deyn and David Gandy are frequent inspiration. Ollie's application of watercolor is seen as particularly sensitive when compared to the use of watercolor for landscapes.
Recently Ollie has been working on commissions of people, seen as a unique alternative to photography, and regularly updates his website www.ollie-ink.com with his new material. Ollie can be contacted via email at ollie@ollie-ink.com
